Hi…

My name is Rohana, I am a contemporary jeweller and object maker based in Geelong, Australia. All pieces are made by me in my home studio.

I enjoy all the hidden secrets our Earth has to offer:
An insect. The impossible beauty of native orchids. An interesting twig. A spider web sparkling with dew. The tiniest toadstool. Finding lost treasures. The golden hour just before dusk.

These are just a few of the wonders that fill my mind when I am crafting delicate, one of a kind, pieces of jewellery. Each piece is an evolution of the last, a never ending chain.

My work focuses on form, texture and imagery. I enjoy looking into the symbolism of the creatures and plants I use for inspiration, as well as using objects I find on my adventures in nature. My work often includes a subtle sense of humour and an enjoyment of the unexpected.
