The beauty of copper is in the subtle variation in the patina. The surface colours of your copper jewellery have been created by heating and quenching the piece multiple times. This creates a durable surface patina. Some pieces have been sealed to maintain the look of the piece as it ages. Others are left bare and will change over time, just like a great pair of jeans!
Keeping your copper jewellery looking it's best is easy with proper care.
Remove your jewellery before swimming, bathing, exercising or going to bed.
Wait to put on your jewellery until after you have applied lotion, makeup or perfume.
Treat your jewellery with care, hard knocks, bumps or repetitive friction may damage the surface patina.

Titanium is a light and durable metal. The colour of your titanium jewellery is achieved by passing an open flame over the surface of the piece. This is a surface treatment and although it is fairly durable, it can wear off if not treated properly.

The sterling silver of your jewellery has been oxidised. This is a surface treatment which gives the silver a black or grey appearance.
It is normal for the oxidisation to wear off on the high points as you wear it. Polishing the silver will cause it to wear off faster.
I think it gives the piece depth and character that is unique to the wearer.
If you would like to freshen the oxidisation up at any time, I am able to do this for a small fee.
